Acurast Association Announces Token Generation Event (TGE) Date and Preps for Mainnet Launch
With 137,500+ phones onboarded, 447M on-chain transactions, an upcoming Airdrop, staked compute, and collator onboarding, Acurast is paving the way for mainnet
Zug, Switzerland – October 14, 2025 — The Acurast Association today announces the official date of its long-awaited Token Generation Event (TGE), marking a major milestone in the project’s journey toward bringing decentralized confidential compute to the masses. The Acurast TGE is scheduled for November 17, 2025, in preparation for the upcoming launch of the Acurast Mainnet.
Since its debut, Acurast Canary has demonstrated strong traction, with over 137,500 phones onboarded, generating 447 million on-chain transactions in the Polkadot ecosystem and powering 41,000+ deployments across live use cases. This performance has underscored the network’s value in delivering scalable, decentralized, and confidential compute.
The TGE timeline follows extensive coordination with exchanges, ecosystem collaborators, and launch partners to ensure optimal readiness. “We only have one chance to launch, and we’re dedicated to making sure it’s extraordinary,” said Alessandro De Carli, Co-Founder of Acurast. “We’ve put in the work and used our time to expand cross-chain integrations, battle-test crucial mechanics like staked compute, and deliver a launch that delivers a product up to our standard.”
As a rollup on Polkadot, Acurast benefits from shared security while seamlessly providing interoperability to the broader multichain ecosystem. The Polkadot SDK provides the foundation for Acurast’s decentralized confidential compute, enabling flexible cross-chain integrations and aligning with Polkadot’s vision of a secure, interoperable multichain future. In preparation for the TGE and Mainnet, Acurast has already achieved several critical milestones:
- Collator Onboarding is underway to decentralize block propagation ahead of Mainnet.
- Benchmarked Rewards launched on September 4, introducing fairer, performance-based incentives for compute providers.
- Code Freeze and Security Audit are in progress, with Monethic conducting a comprehensive audit.
- Staked Compute, the final major feature to align incentives for providers and delegators, will go live on Testnet imminently.
Additional milestones for TGE and Mainnet include the development of the cACU-to-ACU conversion mechanism, the upcoming Cloud Rebellion Airdrop of 10 million ACU tokens, and preparations for DEX and CEX listings to broaden accessibility to ACU worldwide.
